Disappointing in the extreme
My least favorite installment in the series. I’ve always in enjoyed the Ghost Walker books in spite of their hyper-sexual nature because the science was possible if not probable and the storyline fast paced and engaging.
This installment was tiresome filled with too much pointless chatter and rehashing of the same topic repeatedly. Ghost Walker male leads are always dominate males with tendency to be over protective of their women. Wyatt was the least likeable of all the male leads and made excuses for his verbally abusive behavior because of his genetic alteration. His decision to have even become a ghost walker in light of his advanced knowledge of what would happen to him was unbelievable. His treatment of his female lead was not in the spirit of the series at all.
This installment did not advance the series overall story line. Frankly this might be my last because for the first time the book was all about the sex, not the people having it or the ghost walkers fight for their place in the world.

Totally disgusted at the treatment of the heroine!
I’m sorry, I have been reading Christine Feehan’s books for over a decade now and I was physically ill at the relationship between Pepper and Wyatt in this novel. I don’t care what his “excuses” were. The way he treated her with jealousy and complete dominance was stomach turning and I can only pray that he is the only “Ghostwalker” in her literary stable that behaves so badly. Completely disappointed in the author, the story, and the money wasted.

Disappointed – Too much SEX
not much of a plot. I loved Gator but Wyatt was an ass, too domineering. Way Too Much Sex. I prefer a good plot. I loved this series until this book. I think Christine shod end the series with Whitney death and be done wit it!
