The body of a sex worker was found at Queen Street Station in Glasgow, hands towards her feet, placed as if in prayer, a small flower pressed between her palms. Psychologist Solomon Brightman is called in to assist DCI Lorimer in his hunt for the murder, in the hope that his fringe thinking will illuminate the case from a different angle. But before any conclusions could be made, the body of a nurse was discovered at the private clinic The Grange.

Apart from the careful arrangement of the corpses, there is no obvious link between the victims; Lorimer and Solomon are still very much in the dark. Then a third body appeared, and it became increasingly clear that they had a serial killer in their hands.

This book is very good, as good as all the others in the series. The narration is excellent and very easy to listen to and the plot is interesting and believable and the ending is not easy to guess. I have no hesitation in recommending this book to others.
I love this story, it has a good pacing and lots of detailed observations about the care industry and police work.
First I read one of his books. Great for an interesting and complex murder mystery
no unwanted bad reputation. There are some sexual tones but never
unnecessary or crude.
Enjoyed getting to know the characters and wanted to follow them. Hope content
still interesting.
