Great book, not the best narrative
I loved the story in the book, it kept me interested the whole time. I found that the narrator pronounces different character names very similarly. It makes it hard to follow especially since those characters appear in the same conversation together. There is also no difference in voice when multiple people speak at the same time. It seems that all men have the same voice and all women have the same voice. I had to go back and listen again after realizing another character was involved. Ouch! I haven’t read the book which is only listed in audio so I can’t be sure where the problem lies. Maybe some characters have very similar names? When it comes to one of the human male friends and her main love..
I also really liked the romantic part of the story. It’s slow and doesn’t stand out like in some of the other books, but it’s there and seems to progress in a very natural way.
I recommend you read this book. Although the narration is not bigger, I still prefer the audio in this case to reading.
