This is the first Discworld novel I have ever read…under a strong recommendation from my brother, who greatly appreciates Terry Pratchett, and he is an author I have never finished reading… However, during the Christmas break, I found myself having some free time… I finally picked up a book and read it… and it’s amazing…. now I understand you. Where does my son come from? Also… now I’m going back to reading the books in chronological order.
If you’re reading this book as a Terry Prachett fan then this review is pointless to you… but if you’re on the fence and looking for a good place to start. .. I found this book to be a very good introduction to the Discworld Universe!
