This is a new book for me, not my usual kind of book. It was suggested to me by two close people in my life. Initially, it took me a while to get used to the author’s writing style. So I struggled with the story and pushed myself to stay with it and am glad I did. I enjoyed the humor and construction of the main characters. When reading a mystery, I try to guess who did it and why as I continue, and am surprised to read the actual events. Great surprise. I love it when I’m wrong. I wouldn’t make a good detective but prefer a good ending!
