A great ending to this trilogy with a great ending. Sometimes while reading, I get so absorbed in Navarre’s character that I have to check in with myself to see if I’m going through the same physical changes. It was the first time for me… read science and fantasy in over fifty years. Robin is a great author. I have devoured all her other books and can’t wait for the next one.
Read books that make you think you may not really have all the answers. What seemed simple failed and what seemed difficult did not. There are things that cannot be explained, but we also may not see the simple truth. I just don’t want to give this away but these books are very different from her other books except that I find her main characters often don’t live their lives at first but what other people do. If they want them to live, they have to grow up and often suffer and eventually figure it out. Again, this is more Supernatural than Fantasy, but I’ve grown to like them!
