This series is quickly becoming my new favorite. The characters and plot are very unique and original, and the story is always engaging. There is never a dull moment, and Debra Dunbar has created such a wonderful world. Angela Rysk is the perfect narrator for these books and I can’t wait to continue with this series!
I really like this series. I love the characters and the universe they inhabit. In keeping with this genre, the narrator speaks only for herself and what she observes. There is no unexplained or shifting omniscience. I appreciate this because it keeps me immersed. The reader doesn’t know anything the character doesn’t know. This increases the illusion of actually experiencing the events of the book with the main character rather than just reading about it. Very happy!
