Year 2066. A Caltech intern accidentally noticed an anomaly from the space telescope – something approaching Saturn and slowing down. Spatial objects do not decelerate. Spaceships do.

A series of top-level government meetings reached an indisputable conclusion: Anything built on that ship is at least 100 years ahead of hard and soft technology, and anyone with being able to monopolize it and bring it back will have a huge advantage, no other country can compete. Overall very interesting. Good narration, good plot, possible future science, good plots, interesting characters. My only real negative is that if we (USA) really discover something great for all of humanity, I hope that we will work together with the rest of the world. BUT I KNOW WE WON’T DO IT.

Science fiction is fascinating. Reasonable ideas in the near future. Interesting problems encountered and overcome at each step of the novel. I like problem solving books. Great speed. A few twists along the way. The characters are engaging, thoughtful and funny.
I really like this book.
