Ms. Cole has written a good book. Storm is easy to love and Evelyn starts off as a sympathetic character. For me, after a while, her doubts and lack of confidence started to worry me. The final decision to take steps to change her life came so slowly, I felt like putting a needle in my eye. Storm should be sanctified for his patience! Anyway, I’m glad she finally got there. Worthy of credit, and that piqued my interest in the other members of the band. Thank you, Miss Cole!
It’s not even my favorite genre but I love Carian Cole’s characters and the stories she weaves from them. She doesn’t overlook the human weaknesses and insecurities in any of her characters. Her ragged naughty rock boys are the guys you wish really existed! And she writes some of the best romances around. I usually give only 5 stars to my favorite authors, but I have to give Storm the highest rating in the first book of the series.
