The Wolf’s Hour is a good story by Robert R. McCammon. The story of Gallatin stuck in a machine with no way out, no chance of survival. Along with the secret that he is a werewolf, he can destroy the Earth whenever he himself does not know, he is a brave, intelligent warrior.
