My name is Sara and I have always loved this story. I never knew it was a book and to find it on here is an indescribable joy. It was a great read and I will listen to it again, although the sad passages can be hard to hear or even read before. Great job and I would highly recommend it! I also recommend the movies made on it, which is a bit more fun than the book but all the ways I have heard/see this story fill me with happiness and hope for humanity. My daughter and I listen to books in the car, and this is a treasure. It teaches children a lot of valuable lessons and the general goodness of being kind. After reading this book, we have made a list of ways we can help other people and animals, and we plan to do what we can. A really valuable and enjoyable listening session!
