Chasing Fire By Nora Roberts – Best Selling Audiobook

Nora Roberts’ study about the fire fighters has finally bore fruit; she has been analyzing the department for quite a while now and surely has portrayed everything in a correct manner. The firefighters are constantly engaged in breath taking missions and although they are worried about the lives of the people all the time no one ever cares for them.

Rowan a member of the elite fire fighters in town still does not care whether the people are worried about her life or not she is ready for action since she was eighteen. Her father is the inspiration she needed and she wants to prove to the world that she shares the same blood with the same passion. She jumps in the fire comes out of it in a flash and always lives on the edge still she is satisfied.

Things change for her when she returns to her hometown and gets a new Rookie named Gulliver. She starts liking something else than her job and starts thinking about a relation she now thinks she needed for the last many years.  She tries to stop herself at first because firefighters don’t date at all, it distracts their mind and one mistake can take everything away if they distracted.

Still the human emotions take over towards the climax and we observe a shade of Shelter in Place too. Narration is very significant when emotions are portrayed, Rebecca Lowman gives a heart touching performance overall. Through the narration we can feel when Rowan is drifting away in her feelings and fails to focus any further on her job because of Gulliver.
