Flight of Magpies is narrated by Cornell Collins who has appeared in the majority of chapters of the subject series. He makes a good choice for the narration of such as series for his brilliant and controlled voice to play such larger than life characters.
The justiciary was understaffed and then there were a series of some terrifying murders that needed to be investigated. There was a very young and a talented student who was flying literally right off the rails. He was Stephen Day, the magical law enforcer who was under significant stress.
His relationship with Lord Crane, his aristocratic lover has started to feel the strain Lord Crane chafes at the range of different restrictions linked with the law of England. There was some really worrying progress right in the sex and blood bond that he has in mutual with Stephen.
It was a sort of development which would make a sensible man to question if they all could be together with each other or not.
This book tells a really lovely story which you would never like to end. The characters are so excellent that you might painfully miss them once the story is over. Kudos to the narrator as well for such soulful narration of this audiobook.
