Review 1: The Family Upstairs A Novel audiobook by Tawny

I am picky, and have never waited for any author to come out with a new book except for Lisa Jewell. The story is creative… and so many emotions: sad, funny, intense & dark all at the same time. These narrators— SO GOOD!! All of them. Henry’s narrator made me laugh so many times. Please… write another one soon!

Review 2: The Family Upstairs A Novel audiobook by Amanda N Collins

I was so into this book I binged nearly 10 hours straight. All the while expecting the boogeyman to emerge with a last minute twist. And then nothing…
My jaw literally hung open after the last sentence was read with disbelief. I was left thinking, so what was the point. Great character development, awesome narration but the ending fell flat.

Review 3: The Family Upstairs A Novel audiobook by Cat Lover

I loved Lisa Jewell’s other books and pre-ordered this one. It fell flat for me. The first half of the book was slow, disjointed and confusing with so many characters. The second half was better, but I had hoped for so much more. I kept waiting for some bombshell to be revealed that I didn’t see coming to make this journey all worth it and it never happened. I’m surprised by all of the rave reviews. I’ll continue to be a Lisa Jewell fan but really – this was a disappointment.
