Making Monster Girls 2 is the second science fiction book in the Making Monster Girls series by author Eric Vall.
My greatest experiment, the culmination of years of effort, succeeded: I created the world’s first female monster.
An accident, but what should have been a happy ending was just the beginning. The forces of matriarchy won’t go out of their way to kill us all if they find out what I’ve done. I must overthrow the matriarchy. For that, I’ll need more monster girls!
Eric Vall is an author that I find very contradictory. He comes up with interesting storylines and can craft a compelling story like he does here.
But at the same time, the characters in his stories tend to become ludicrous slurs quelled by central casting rather than compelling constructs. He also has major problems with continuity at times, which is evident in this book when he tries to use flashbacks to complete some world building.
Still, this is an enjoyable if very light book. He does do a few sex scenes that add nothing to the actual plot, but this is probably expected by most people who enjoy the genre.
