This book is not just a romance novel. There are certainly some steamy sex scenes but they are not depicted vulgarly. I would go as far as to say that they are scripted sensitively. The dialogue is clear and the tension between the two main characters is quite evident. At the same time, there is intrigue and suspense. The characters are well developed and the plot keeps the reader enthralled. I love Gabriel’s tortured soul and Drusilla’s gritty nature. I will read the rest of this series. Thank you Minerva.
