Nate is recovering from his injuries and trying to deal with past crimes when he is suddenly surrounded by a small group of elite professional special operators. They are not there to threaten him, but to make a deal. They need help to destroy a domestic terrorist cell in Wyoming’s Red Desert, and in return, they will make Nate’s criminal record disappear.

But they’re not what they seem, as Nate’s friend Joe Pickett discovered. They have various plans in mind, and that might be what will bring them all down — including Nate and Joe.

I grew up in Laramie Wyoming. I’m very familiar with the southern part of the state, which makes this reading interesting. Spent 20 years in the Navy working in the Intel region. Surprisingly the concept is not surprising. Joe & Nate are great characters and my type. Love all.
