Dean Ray Koontz or just Dean Koontz is an American writer whose work is billed as marvelous suspense thrillers. However, you will see him incorporating a few other genres in his work that includes fantasy, horror, satire and science fiction, etc. Elsewhere is horror fiction. The author as explained is quite diverse when it comes to writing on different genres so you must try some of his more work. The best novels from the author are Darkfall and Devoted.
The audiobook of this novel includes a team of narrators which includes Edoardo Ballerini, Josh Bloomberg, Imani Parks, Soneela Nankani, Kevin T. Collins, Brian Holden, Amanda Leigh Cobb, and Alexander Cendese. The narration team did a phenomenal job and the listeners enjoyed every bit of it.
Since Michelle, his wife left him seven years ago, Jeffy has worked quite hard to make a pretty much normal life for himself and his eleven years old daughter. Her name was Amity and they were living together at Suavidad Beach. Their life was quite calm until one-day Spooky Ed, a local eccentric showed up on their door.
Ed kind of entrusts Jeffy with hiding a weird and potentially dangerous object. He used to call it the key to everything. He informed Jeffy that he must never use that device. But, Jeffy and Amity accidentally activated that device after having a visit from some ominous group of men. They discovered some extraordinary truth through it.
The best part of Elsewhere is its story and it was wonderfully written by Dean Koontz. The characters and character development was also satisfactory, while audio performance was top-notch as well.
