Also check out Mud Vein, another amazing novel by Tarryn.

The story is told from three perspectives, thus it has three narrators in Brittany Pressley, Lance Greenfield, and Carly Robins. It keeps us guessing. Every single performance is satisfactory. They have done a nice job giving us a clear picture of the minds of the characters. By having three different narrators, it adds great depth to the understanding of the novel.

Fig Coxbury buys a house on West Barrett Street. However, the reason for her choice is not because she likes the neighborhood. It is also not because the air is nice and the environment is peaceful. It’s not even because she likes the house. It’s because she is stalking someone. Everything that she desires, is next door. The husband, the child, and the life that she desires belong to someone else.

The plot twists and the characters will have us guessing till the very end. Reading this novel, we can be sure that Tarryn has a dark side to her which is amazingly reflected in all her unique novels. Her stories are as unique as they come. The characters in this book are also realistic, you may not like them, you may not admire them, but they are written brilliantly.
