Phallacy Life Lessons from the Animal Penis – Free Full Audiobook

Phallacy is a health book by author Emily Willingham.
A wry look at the incredible world of animal penises can tell us about how we use our penises.

The mistake sold to many of us is that the penis signals dominance and power. This insightful book reveals that, in fact, nature does not shape the penis – or the man attached to it – to have the upper hand.

Phallacy scrutinizes some of nature’s more remarkable examples of penises and the many lessons to learn from them. To trace how we end up positioning our unremarkable penis as a vibrating, inspiring shaft of all masculinity and human domination, Phallacy also points to what we are. can do to bring the penis back to its original position.

Phallacy ultimately challenges the toxic message that the penis makes men and men unable to control themselves. With instructive illustrations about unusual genitalia and stories about animal mating rituals that will make you especially happy that you’re not a bedbug, Penis Shows Baby Who fits which continuum from the cheerful phalli to the lethal phalli and why the human penis is a tool for intimacy and not for intimidation.

Although the author seems tense when discussing the politics of human sexuality, I enjoyed her speech, even if a part of me was thinking “What? Hmm. I’m not sure I am. agree with this. I’ll have to rethink it” as I read some passages. I like writers who make me question my own experiences, beliefs, and cognitive filters.

I have the Kindle version and now wish I had the paper version so I could flip it back and forth with ease, especially for fascinating non-human bioinformatics.

Recommended for people who are open-minded, willing to question their own reactions, curious about how the world works and like a good story.
