Red Hands – Audiobook Online

Red Hands – Ben Walker Series, Book 3, Audiobook Online By: Christopher Golden

A car drives through a crowd at the 4th of July parade. The driver climbs out, sick and unsteady, reaching out his arms… and everyone he touches dies within seconds. Maeve Sinclair watched in horror as those she loved began to die, and she knew she had to act.

But in the aftermath of this horror, it was Maeve who possessed that killer touch. Fleeing into the mountains, struggling with her own pain and confusion, Maeve confronts the realization that she will never be able to touch another human again.

“Strange sex expert” Ben Walker was surprised to receive a call from Alena Boudreau, director of the newly restructured Global Alliance for Scientific Research. There’s been an organizational upheaval, and she needs to send someone she can trust to Jericho Falls. Whoever finds Maeve Sinclair first will unravel the mystery of her death, and many are willing to kill her for that secret. Walker’s mission is to bring her down the mountain alive.

But as Maeve searches for a place of refuge, hunted and growing sicker, she begins to hear a sly voice in her head, and yearns, needs… longs to touch a human. Others continue to grow. When Walker and Maeve meet for the last time, they will unravel an astonishing legacy of death and betrayal, and a sinister secret as old as history.

The man refused to leave good enough alone. Don’t respect what they don’t understand. Evil, man-made or otherwise, is not something used to seek domination. A high skill at which humanity has to pay is the backbone of chaos.

Christopher Golden’s Red Hands is a thrilling ride that begins with pedaling into the metal and doesn’t stop until the end. The highest praise I can give this installment of the Ben Walker series has cemented him as one of my favorite literary characters, whose ratings include Stephen King’s Roland Deschain, Jonatham Crowley by James A Moore, Jack the repairman by F. Paul Wilson and Odd by Dean Koontz Thomas.
