Separate Sisters – Audiobook Online

Separate Sisters – Audiobook Online By Nancy Springer

After Donni and Trisha’s parents broke up, Donni went to live with their father and Trisha stayed with their mother. Donni is not like her older sister, Trisha the Perfect, who always gets good grades and never does anything wrong.

All Donni cares about is art. Since the divorce, she has been in trouble almost every day. But after she smeared paint on another girl’s shirt and an adult asked her about the divorce, everything fell apart.

Since Donni is always in trouble, no one seems to notice that Trisha is also having a hard time with things at home. With no one to confide in, Trisha opens up about everything—parents, sister, hopes for the future—in her diary. What she wants more than anything is for Donni to talk to her about how she feels. But after Donni does something terrible, possibly unforgivable, the sisters may never be friends again.

A great young adult novel that keeps your eyes glued to every word, and this one is no exception. It is about a pair of teenage sisters whose parents have recently divorced. Trisha survives by trying to be as perfect as she believes people expect of her. Mostly the Story focuses on Donni who doesn’t cope well at all. She behaves in a wild and rebellious manner, and has sudden, unexpected tantrums that she cannot control. Trisha’s supporters finally. I really like Trisha. I think she is a lover.

Nancy Springer “Comply, go crazy or be an artist.” I have a rubber stamp on those words, and they pretty much describe my life. Even my mother, who spends her days painting animal portraits on the easel in the corner of the kitchen, tries to fit in with house cleaning, the ball, and putting on a new set of clothes. every spring. when he was young and the “melting pot” idol because he finally fit.
