The turbulent initial meeting causes Quinton and Elliot to further tense up. But when their new job forces them to spend time together, Elliot realizes that they may have more in common than she imagined. With her work and his integrity, this is a coin toss that no one can win.

I recommend not only this Snapped but the whole series by Alexa Martin. From the first book I read, throughout Snapped, I couldn’t put them down. This one is a bit different as it has a bit of a BLM movement. But the plot is good, and the reading is still fun and uplifting.

I liked the story but it was a struggle from the start. There should have been more focus on characters who sometimes seemed a bit shallow instead of focusing too much on black pop culture. As a Black American Woman, this can be a bit exhausting and seems like they’re trying their best.
