I was in my early twenties when this story unfolded and would love to go back in time with the author’s narrative. Real story, sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking. Heddy, the main character is so likable and compassionate, she would be my choice for a best friend and confidant of that era. I hope Miss Foster will continue Heddy’s story.
